From New York City and points south - Take NY State Thruway (Toll), I-87 North to EXIT 24 (Albany) onto I-87 / I-90 toward Montreal After Toll Plaza, merge onto Adirondack Northway, I-87 North via EXIT 1N toward Montreal Follow I-87 North to EXIT 30, Keene Valley / Keene At bottom of exit ramp, turn LEFT onto US-9 north / NY-73 North. Follow NY-73 north for 15.5 miles (24.9KM) to Keene In Keene, turn RIGHT onto NY-9N. Go for 6.0 miles (9.6KM) to Upper Jay At Upper Jay, NY-9N makes a sharp right turn.
